NASCAR History
Established on February 21st, 1948 by Bill France Sr.,
NASCAR is a multi-billion dollar industry that has won
the hearts and respect of spectators world-wide. The
first official "strictly stock" race was held
on June 19th, 1949 at the Charlotte Speedway in North
