2007 NASCAR Race Cars

Weighing in at 3,400 pounds, NASCAR vehicles are built to be strong, powerful, breeds that are fierce on the race track. All cars must be uniform in weight and measurements and meet specifications to be considered "stock" cars. The massive engines of these machines are capable of generating over 750 horsepower. In 2007, only 4 automobile models will be eligible for NASCAR racing. That exclusive list includes:

  • Dodge Charger
  • Toyota Camry
  • Ford Fusion
  • Chevrolet Monte Carlo

NASCAR is the official governing body over many different races. While there are many stock car races throughout America, these are the top three of NASCAR:

  • NEXTEL Cup Series (Includes: Daytona 500, Brickyard 400, and Coca-Cola 600)
  • Busch Series
  • Craftsman Truck Series
